I can't wait for Saturday. I'm ready to see some hitting. I love the weightroom more than any washed up player but it is time to see it transferred to the field. Any word coming out of Boiling Springs about who is getting reps where? I know it is early but the Bulldogs have some veterans that should be able to step in and play at a high level.

Looking forward to Saturday, the guys should be in pads then and the new coaches will get their first look at them and their technique and skills with the pads on. For those players who are working with a new position coach it will be time to prove themselves all over again. I'm sure to date that the coaches are looking at physical measurements and the like to get things started but the guys once they start hitting should quickly show their mettle. I would think the guys who play positions where the position coach was one of the three held over from the prior staff (RB, LB and DL) might have a bit of an advantage as their positions coaches know what their strengths and weaknesses are. For all others, it's a chance to show something that maybe wasn't picked up on by their former position coaches.
The anticipation, expectation, excitement and sense of renewal abounds. I'm ready to see our 2011 Running Bulldogs get after it.
