Hey guys, I'm JT Crabtree with South Alabama athletics. Wanted to reach out to you guys if you're making the trip down. There is no parking at the stadium, it is reserved for students and season ticket holders. You can park in someone's yard around the stadium (no security, no affiliated with the University), or you can park at Bel-Air Mall and take the shuttle which costs $2.50 round-trip (provided by the University, security on site).
If you want to tailgate, we've got you covered. Fan Fest, located in the Southeast corner of the parking lot, is a corporate sponsored tailgate area with free food and drinks provided by several different businesses around Mobile. No ticket or anything needed to access Fan Fest.
Hope you'll join us. If you have any questions about gameday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, feel free to email me: JTCrabtreeUSA@gmail.com.

Attended Wake Forest/ Elon game in Winston last night. Elon played Wake very evenly for most of the first Quarter. Elon could easily have had two break away touchdowns early in the game with passes to their wide receivers but Wake safeties made the late tackles. They have a good mobile accurate passing QB with a lot of tall fast talent to catch the ball. GW corners will have their hands full. Did not have a running game at all but that could be attributed to the Wake D-line. They had big Defensive linemen and linebackers who held Wake runners in check until worn down as game progressed. I was impressed with the changes Elon coaches made at half time. Even though they were behind they really came out motivated and hard hitting. Absolutely not a pushover.
