You think one of their parties will be "Fire the Head Coach" after we leave?

Gameday weather is a high of 75 degrees!!! I would imagine that our boys will be chomping at the bit to play in that kind of weather.

Ohio Website indicates that they open Football Parking Designgated Lots 4 hrs before game time (i.e. 3 pm) except for the Pepsi Tailgater lot which opens 8 hrs before game time but is limited to 150 spaces. Std parking is $5 with a $10 fee for the Tailgater Lot. Trying to figure out whether to leave extra early to grad a tailgater lot spot or just wait to get there mid afternoon for a std parking space. Understand that Lot 4 which consists of multiple lots is for visitors and they work the lots from closest moving away from the stadium. Travel time from Winston-Salem is about 5 hrs 15 minutes going up to Charleston and then cutting across Hwy 33 to Athens. What are the thoughts of my fellow Bulldog travelers?

We will be in Athens Friday evening and will do some recon Saturday morning. I'm told that tailgating at Ohio will be similar to tailgating in Akron - not very serious. Doubtful the Pepsi lot will fill up, but you never know Eagledawg. Worst case is we have a couple of cars in the Pepsi lot and somebody has to do a little walking from another spot. The high temp is supposed to be 75!!!!!
Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Man I am so ready!!! I hope we are ready to attack. I dont believe we will have the element of suprise. The OU coach will remind his guys of Akron last year. But, I believe that our guys are coming together as a group and that could be dangerous. Either way, I am proud of the Dawgs and am glad to be one!!! See you all Saturday!!!!

Dawgs fall 30-3 to Ohio but the score is in no way reflective of the valiant effort put up by our guys from Boiling Springs. Ohio did most of their damage tallying 24 pts in the 2nd qtr with 7 of those coming off a Int return for a TD and 10 other points coming off a short field from 2 other Ints. QB Chandler Browning made some good early throws that were either dropped or in one instance tipped in the air off the receivers hands for one of the Ints. For most of the night, it seemed that he had receivers break off their routes or had to make quick throws before the WR's had gotten into their routes. Ohio's DB's blanketed our WR's and we surely didn't get much out of the passing game. In the first half, the G-Dubb OL and the rushing game performed well against a Def that only surrendered 6 total yds of rushing the prior week. G-Dubb held a significant time of possession advantage against a larger, deeper Ohio squad so that's something to build on. The G-Dubb Def bent but did not break over quarters 1, 3 and 4 and gang tackled well thru out the night. Ricky Rhodes almost had a KR for a TD where he just barely stepped on the sideline at mid-field to offset an electrifying 94 yd return. The Dawgs didn't appear to suffer any major injuries and will need another great effort against Wake Forest next week. Coach Dickerson will need to find some things for our passing game but winning the time of possession next week against the Deacs and limiting and/or winning the Turnover battle will be key for the Dawgs to stay competitive against another BCS foe. These early games will help our guys get better and they should hold their heads high after last night's contest. Time to hit the road back to NC from Charleston, WV after a good nights sleep. See all my Bulldog friends next Saturday in Winston-Salem.
