Frankly, this should be the easiest game on our spring schedule. The Calvinists are always predestined to lose.
PC is working their way downward to non-scholly football, and this will be their first game of the spring slate. This will be a golden opportunity for Lamb to get our depth some actual game snaps before the bye week and Monmouth coming to town.

What’s the school record for most points scored in a game? This would be a great week to break some records!!!

Hello '94. It's been a while. I've been excited again about GWU football ever since Coach Lamb was hired and he did not disappoint in his debut. Last weekend's game against Elon was exceptional [once we got past a slow start]. This team showed a lot of spirit to dominate the second half of the game. I have to believe that the players are thrilled to now understand that Coach Lamb's approach to the game gives them a way to be successful. should be a fun 6 weeks.
Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Hope you've been well sir. Yes, and entirely new buzz around the program. Nice to see actual coaching and adjustments for a change. A have a hunch Lamb will be here three or four years tops, then springboard up the coaching chain, similar to how Holtmann did in hoops.

The struggles of the ESPN+ broadcast are equally hilarious and frustrating.

defense looks really good early. Defensive line is controlling the line of scrimmage. French and Thomas are in the backfield almost every play.

Not going to say that it was a good win but it was a win. We have got to start protecting the ball. 6 turnovers in 2 games is less than ideal. At the end the day a Win is a Win!

A win. 2-0. However, Aiken is frustrating, makes one good play, then one terrible one. From here on out with who we are playing, we will get pounded with that production. I really wish Lamb could have got the other two QBs some snaps heading into the conference slate.

Here is a link to the game story I wrote for the Forest City paper yesterday. Since the Shelby star is it covering Gameday stories anymore, Forest City is doing the rest of the football season on a trial basis. If it is judged a success we will be doing Gardner-Webb stuff in the future. There is a small fee 99 cents per day for a 24-hour pass or you can buy a monthly subscription online for 11 or $12. Any support helps. And if you want to Dyke Austin Bailey for allowing coverage his email is abailey@thedigitalcourier.com www.thedigitalcourier.com/sports/gwu-avoids-upset-tops-pc-in-2-ots/article_5cdcb9a3-e9c5-5419-8538-fdb2cb7c3136.html

Good afternoon, I am new to the forum and a new GW_Football Fan. I love the new coaching staff and team as a whole. I have been reading some of the previous posts and really wanted to jump into the conversation for a few reasons, along with a few questions to whomever would like to engage...
1. It was previously stated that the fans from this page thought GW would go 3-3 and that would be considered a success and a realistic goal for coach & team. Standing at 2-0 What are the predictions & thoughts now? 2. I am a fan of the QB "Agent 0" and although I don't like turnovers and neither should the team...HOWEVER being in the stands for the first 2 games and seeing the response from a team that was formulated officially 2 months ago under the leadership of the new QB he is something special. 3. They have two weeks to work on all the errors from a play calling perspective as well as player execution... but I like what Coach Lamb says its better to work on those areas being 2-0 vs 1-1.
We have 12+ days to discuss... Your thoughts anyone?? #TheNewKidOnTheBlock

We are going to find out how much progress has been made in the next two games against Monmouth then KSU. Monmouth plays their first game this Saturday at Robert Morris, and they are only playing four games total this spring.
My thinking was splitting the first two, then splitting the four in conference. If we split in conference now, we'll be 4-2, way ahead of schedule.

I think Aiken has potential. My guess is that he plans to play a final season in the fall and that could be when things get really special. Lastly, Lamb is lightyears ahead of the old regime.
