Odd tip time of 5 pm.
4-7. Harris, Kelly, and Chavez all average in double digits scoring for them, Chavez hit 10 3s in their last game against Kentucky Christian. Obvious we'll have to play tight perimeter D on them and not let them get in any rhythm from deep.
Speaking of deep, do our two obvious Achilles heels of poor outside shooting and not protecting the basketball rear their ugly head again? Or are we turning over a new leaf in conferene play and those huge issues disappear? I fear the former and not the latter.
With the poor tip time, we'll be lucky to have 300 people in the building, we'll have to create our own energy on our home floor.

83-63 win. 5 in double figures led by Dufeal with 16. Shot 50%, but 30% from 3 and had 14 turnovers, but forced 16. Still plenty of room for improvement with back to back road games at HPU Saturday and at CU Wednesday.
All five home teams won in conference action, I suppose the visitors have more difficulty generating energy in a road environment where no crowd exists. They listed our attendance in the bos score as 494, they must have counted players and training staff in the total. That place looks like a Dimensions program circa 1992 attendance-wise today.
Upsets included Upstate over Winthrop and PC over Campbell. HPU, who seemed to be the best team in the conference so far, got pasted at LW by 14.
GW women won easily at CSU 86-65.

Thanks for the pre- and post-game comments, '94. Those turnovers are a concern, especially since they've been a problem nearly every game so far, but it's nice to win by 20, even against a not-so-great team.

The women's team just keeps on rolling! They're awfully good.
