A shame it didn’t get to stay in Charlotte, it seemed like this past March in particular it was building momentum and local media interest.
Basically three tiers with the membership:
LW, HPU: newest buildings, hotels in Farmville could be a negative
RU, WU, UNCA: have hosted before, UNCA might not get the local cash or fan support since the SOCON is in town at the same time; I could see Rock Hill chipping in and helping WU get it; of course, GW fans would love for it to be in the Tim Craft Center at RU
GW, Upstate, PC, CSU: facilities too small or inadequate; Charleston already has the CAA
In my opinion, the only true neutral site that would work is Charlotte.
