A critical game against the conference leader to try and avoid a downward spiral down the stretch like last season. HPU coming in to Porter off of their first conference loss Wednesday at UNCA as well.
HPU leads the league in PPG, 3 pt % and FT % and is 2nd in offensive rebounding. They thrive off the charity stripe and second and third chances. A three headed scoring monster with Miles, Gaffa, and Hamilton all in the top five in the league in PPG, all averaging 15 or better.
Got to play defense and keep it in the low 70s at worst. We need Soumaoro and his scoring back for this one to have any chance.

Ugly 78-62 loss, we led by 12 early then a 28 point swing after.
Scary thing is overall HPU didn’t play well, shot only 35% from the field, but 17 offensive boards, along with another dismal 65% effort from the charity stripe, killed any chance we may have had. Championship teams find ways to win games when they aren’t sharp. HPU is clearly the best team in the league this year.
I’m sure Dipshit Downs is happy with the result since he can’t wait to fire Craft.
We must win Wednesday at CSU, this skid gets to three straight we will end up like last season down the stretch.
