Winthrop must win to keep any shot of us getting out of the 8 spot alive for the time being.
Coastal got scared at Winthrop Saturday and remember what nearly took place up here earlier in the year. Even with Holtmann ticked off at our effort on Saturday against UNCA, it could get ugly tonight in Conway, and in a hurry.
Of course, I'd rather lose by 50 tonight and go down there in the tourney and win, that's just common sense.

This game could get ugly quick. Coastal Carolina ain't no joke. Coastal Carolina has gotten a lot better since we last played them. I hoping we can keep it within 10 points tonight.

Absolutely stunning. I'd love to hear a report from someone that was at the game.

14 ties and 12 lead changes....awesome job Holtmann and crew!
This is the biggest hoops win since going to Rupp a few years back, we failed to use that big win as a springboard to better things....I tend to think this win may be the start of our way up to the top of the Big South over the next year or so.....

Hey guys.
Congrats on the big win last night. Definitely didn't see that coming. I was a little worried, but thought we would have taken care of business. I would have loved to see how it turned out if Kierre was healthy for the 2nd half, but props to you guys for playing a great game!

After last night's crazy results, this was posted on the Big South's Facebook page this morning:
With the Liberty loss last night, Coastal Carolina captures the #1 seed and Liberty secures the #2 spot. Gardner-Webb secured a spot in the tournament last night while eliminating Radford from qualifying for the championship.

We can still get the 7 seed as well if we win our final three (@csu, RU, HPU) and High Point loses their last two (@unca, @g-W) still possible, but we can really talk about the chances next week at this time if we go down to CSU and win next Tuesday.
