I am quite confident that our defense will keep us in the game until the end. I still have concerns about the offense, and am beginning to wonder if getting our freshman QB more snaps for a better change of pace might be the best alternative to get points on the board. North Greenville put 27 up on them last week and had the lead at half. No reason to think that they are invincible by any means.

Any word on whether Cook will play? Maybe he is and maybe he isn't. Wofford fans may be trolling so I guess we will have to wait til Saturday to see.

Yeah, we Wofford fans have direct access to the Wofford Coaching staff in order to change the game plan based on what we learn on a football message board.

28-20 Wofford leading at the half. In a game where the GWebb offense has awakened, our defense has not answered the bell. To be fair, this is not the same squad or the same weather conditions that competed against the Terriers last season (there are only 3 or 4 starters who began the 1st quarter from last season due to graduation and injury). With both Chad Geter and Tanner Burch out with injuries our linebacking group is missing some truly key piece. Along the D=line while Reagan and Hough-Jenkins are playing solid, the pass rush and tackle for losses accumulated by Pemasa and Riddick are missed. In the defensive secondary, the loss of Keon Williams and Lonnie Johnson are felt as our newcomers are playing with great effort but are missing game experience that only comes with time on the field.
2 Wofford 4th down conversions along with a a 3rd down conversion of 3rd and 14 on the first Wofford Drive are the difference between the Dawgs having a at least a one score lead or more. I hope that Coach Randall McCray can rally our defense and that the offense can continue to put points on the board. If they do, then the game could very well come down to a late kicking opportunity and I wish our freshmen kicker can block out the travails over the last 2 weeks as the game could end with a game winning kick. Go Dawgs.

29-28 GWebb ahead moving into the final portion of the 3rd quarter. Dig deep Dawgs, you can do it. C'mon Defense, shut em down, come on offense move that ball.

43-36 Gwebb with 2 minutes to go and Wofford to receive the Gwebb kick-off. What a game, what a offensive wake=up for the Dawgs.

4th and 3 Wofford with no time outs left. A stop and the GWebb has the win. But it's Wofford, on edge, come on Dawgs.

Big Dawgs beat little short haired dogs for the 2nd season in a row. What different games from last season to this season, 3-0 vs 43-36. Wow, just wow. Congrats to Jordy Stalker in his first collegiate start, what a way to break in, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie. Congrats to the offense, what a stellar performance after the early season struggles. Don't let up, next up the Bulldogs of The Citadel.
