Parking is plentiful, and there are assigned areas if you want to tailgate. I always park quite a ways across campus and walk over. I don't know how the Big South Cross Country Championships being held Saturday might have an effect. You would think little since they should be over with long before kickoff.

#21 a true freshman for GW has had a rough day but as an old coach once told me, if there was somebody better standing on the sideline to play your spot they would have been in the game. Not sure what he was thinking on both the CCU 4th and 5th TDs but he jogs in from his corner spot on the 4th and 1 play with no real purpose in behind the mass of bodies, the CCU RB is stuffed up the middle but bounces it outside for a 29 yd TD and #21 has lost his outside containment responsibility. On the 5th TD while covering a WR down at the goal line, the CCU QB scrambles out of the pocket to the left and even though #21 is at least 25 yards away from the QB who is still behind the line of scrimmage he takes 3 or 4 steps back towards the QB while the WR drifts into the endzone and is wide open for an easy catch. Not certain as no one can be but those two plays along with the tipped pass interception on GW's 1st possession for a CCU pick 6 resulted in 21 points for CCU. Against such a highly ranked and quality opponent, those become pretty much insurmountable for GW who is limited with pretty much a one dimensional game on offense. Once forced to pass every play the OL can't hold up against a relentless pass rush and Beatty is sacked repeatedly. The Dawgs played with more spunk today but made youthful mistakes that were costly. Here's hoping that the Dawgs can close out the season with some wins. The toughest 2 conference games are now behind them and if they could get to 3-2 in conference and 7-5 for the season that would be pretty good considering the injuries to so many key and all-conference level players this season.

That game at CSU isn't going to be a picnic next week. They went up to Monmouth and planted a shutout on them. Impressive.
If we can find a way to win 2 of the last 3 and finish at .500, that's about the best we can hope for heading into the offseason.
