Early 11 am kick, on channel 398 here locally on T-W Cable.....
CSU a very hard squad to gauge, went 0 for October, lost at Vandy by 1 then turned around and lost to PC at their place, then lost big to CCU (who hasn't). Then, go on the road to a supposed offensive juggernaut at Monmouth and pitch a shutout last week.
Very simple....play a bit smarter on offense and protect the ball, meanwhile, force a few turnovers on D. We got CCU to put the ball on the ground three times last week and couldn't fall on one.
Let's salvage something from this season and pull out a big road W. I expect us to play well.

I also thought we would rebound from the 2 expected losses and play a crisp, tight game.
Well, its 0-34 at the half, so it looks like Charleston Southern is the squad taking advantage of our 3 turnovers. Sorry if I offend anyone, but our O-Line and QB play is in disarray.

dawgdad - I agree that there are some issues. Some may have resulted from the sum of so many injuries including those on the O-line. On the other hand, I don't quite understand with the loss of only one senior off last year's squad and with having a competent player who gained much experience last season to take his place in David Sutton, I can't figure the almost total loss of any run game. The only other change is flipping the LT and LG based off of last year's line-up. Something is not clicking in the run game and it's been that way most of the season even before J. Blount was injured. I go back to the Citadel game and since having a lead in the 3rd quarter and then losing by a pretty good amount, the season has turned downward. The Dawgs have certainly missed Pemasa and Riddick in the pass rush game as we struggle to get pressure. I watched the first half today on ESPN 3 and it was downright ugly. I hope that the seniors can rally the team and go out with a home win next week and then find a way to win on the road which has been a rare occurrence for a long while in Boiling Springs. We plan to be there for the PC game for Senior Day and see our tailgate friends. Maybe we can find something and Ole Miss will take all the starch out of PC.

Guys have lost heart as whole. There is ZERO leadership and consistent execution out there. The Defense has no push up front or threats in the front 7, other than Mau and they make sure he doesn't do anything. We are hurting without Geter and Burch out there. OL and RB play is below average and Beatty isn't the same player he was his sophomore year. The guys are beat up and ready for thanksgiving dinner with their families.
