The GWU Marching Band 2011 held their first team meeting August 10 at 7 pm.
Tentative 2011 GWU Band Performance Schedule:
Thur. Aug. 25 GWU Students & Student Athletes Tailgate Party, Spangler Stadium, 6 PM.
Home Football Games: Pre-game march one hour before kickoff, "Walk the Dog" from OMG to Spangler Stadium.
Sept. 3 : Home Football Game
Oct. 8 : Liberty University, DAWG DAY, Family Weekend (4 PM) ***
Oct. 15 : At Presbyterian Football Game, Clinton SC (2 PM) Band trip???***
Oct. 22 : At Coastal Carolina Football Game. (6 pm kickoff)**** GWU Approved (9/23/11) Band Trip. Travel dates 10/21 (Mission Day) and 10/23.
Oct. 29 : Charleston Southern, Homecoming Football Game (1:30 pm kickoff)***
Nov. 5 : Carolina Crown BandBeat Marching Band Championships at GWU. Exhibition performance by the GWU Marching Bulldogs.
Nov. 12 : New York State - Stony Brook Football Game (1:30 pm kickoff)***
