Liberty U's Coach Rocco has indefinitely suspended Preseason All American Candidate NG Asa Chapman relating to an arrest for drug possession. Would be a huge loss in the middle for the LU Defense. G-Dubb wouldn't have to double team his likely replacement. See link! www2.newsadvance.com/sports/2...es-ar-1276037/

GWU student accused of cash card fraud at Chick-fil-A Thursday, Sep 1 2011, 5:50 am Corey Friedman A Boiling Springs man is accused of using another man’s Gardner-Webb University student ID to buy $37.54 worth of food at Chick-fil-A.
Lyndon Leslie, 22, whose residence was listed on an arrest warrant as the university’s 110 S. Main St. address, used the card knowing he didn’t have permission to do so on Saturday, according to the warrant.
The Webb Card serves as both a student ID and as a financial transaction card that can be loaded with Webb Cash to pay for goods and services on campus and at participating off-campus businesses, according to the university website.
Campus police charged Leslie with obtaining property by false pretense and misdemeanor financial card fraud.

Don't know what these young men are thinking except that they aren't thinking. Possession of a bit of pot and cocaine in Chapman's case and $37 worth of Chick-Fil-A in Leslie's case is not worth the potential loss of your collage scholarship and potentially your ability to remain in school and/or get your degree. You never want to see these young men toss away something of such value for something that has so little value. Talk about the school of hard knocks, c'mon man!

Pitiful in both cases. The way the SID dept at G-W works, we'll never hear from them officially what happens with Leslie, someone here will have to break it.
Both of these 'students' should be shown the door, permanently, in both cases.
