Nice to stick it to the sea chickens on their homecoming and debut of their fancy live chicken on the sideline.
Let's build on this comeback and run the table for the rest of the year! We can even beat SBU here. Let's do it..we can get to 6-5!
One note to Coach Secord....our special teams need to improve to suck. Your coaching resume and reputation is way too strong to be settling for such mediocrity. It nearly cost us tonight. Totally unexcusable to let a kickoff get run back with under two minutes to go in a game, add in yet another blocked punt and heads have got to roll.

A couple of plays we scored a TD. A negative was immediately converted into a positive and may very well have been the catalyst for the W last night. As a whole, STs are performing well [not perfect] but last night's performance gives the entire team some positive energy as we head back to Boiling Springs for Homecoming. Hopefully you can join us for a tailgate under the trees before we get our shot at Charleston Southern. Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Special teams breakdowns are happening all too often. Anyway, nice to win down there in that festering sewer known as Conway. We can run the table, Uncle Mo is on our side for a change now.

I got to watch the game with a bunch of coastal folks . Great game GWU. I do know that Coastal got a bunch of breaks. We had some awful calls against us(Yes I thought So) but Im going by what the TV announcer guys were saying. The fair catch was rediculous, two pass interferances, holding on the last touchdown just to name a few. When the TV announcers say, I just dont see what the ref is calling and kept showing the replay. They got some generous calls. Yes, we do need to get better on special teams. we did get lucky and got to return that blocked punt for a first down but that was luck. Could have easily been them picking it up. Bit, thats football and we finally had a break go our way. We dang sure had not had one all year. D played great!! Well, except when we went into our prevent at the end and let them just walk downfield for a score. But man when they were being aggresive they were popping folks. We also, lets not forget had a great punt down to the 1. We should have gotten 6 there. Wasnt real happy with that execution but we did get three. Hey folks, we could pick anything to death, but our guys got a win in a very bad place to play!! They have to feel better. Recievers, I have been fussing so let me be the first to say, great job!! Great routes, good hands!!! Hey, its may be finally coming together!! Go Dawgs!!

We've been overdue our share of breaks all season....hopefully Saturday night swung that back in our direction for the rest of the season.

I have to agree with you 94 - something needs to change in the special teams. The whole left side lost contain and the outside guy got blocked by 2 people and the Coastal KR was off to the endzone. Luckily Coastal lost composure and got a celebration penalty and 3 flags on the KO (offsides, facemask and late hit). I will definiately take the much needed win. It will be great to win out.
