They could very well be in the top ten nationally when the polls are released tomorrow, 6-1, their only loss to Georgia Tech.
After our debacle at Monmouth, we have got to play better. The talent gap is still wide, but playing these guys tough within 14 or so would be a big lift.
KSU is very salty on the defensive side, held CU to 7 in Buies Creek Saturday after they shelled us the week prior. We've got to find a way to hit a big play or two to make it at least competitive.

I hate to say that I'd be happy with a 32-28 loss, but let's be honest: That wouldn't be the worst outcome for us at this early stage in (what we hope will be) the Lamb era.

Their defense is stout. We've got to hit a chunk play or two to stay in it. If our defense plays like last week and not the prior two games, we can hang around.

More than an admirable effort today, but how in the hell do you let an option team complete back to back bombs on you with less than a minute left? That's piss poor coaching. It's almost like the whole team checked out thinking the win was in the bag starting with the blocked PAT, then the kickoff return, then the two long passes. Pitiful.
