9/10 at Coastal Carolina 10/15 at Jake's Favorite School
Haven't been able to glean anything else. With the changes in the conference structure with UNA and KSU leaving, you know Kallander and his cronies will screw it up somehow. Hopefully we can land a home/home with a regional SOCON school like ETSU, Furman, or Wofford.

Sticking with a familiar theme after we are playing App. St., ECU again in 2023. Charlotte in 2024! It would be nice to get a in state ACC opponent like a NC State, Wake Forest, or Duke, or even the University of Noted Criminals every now and again!!!

Power 5 FBS schools have really cut back on scheduling FCS opponents. Just did a quick look at the future schedule for the instate ACC teams and most of them dont have a FCS opponent scheduled if they do its only one. If we want to be considered for those games that are becoming more rare we have reach a higher level of quality. I think the more likely FBS opponents for us are schools like Coastal, APP, Liberty, Charlotte and ECU. Good thing about these opponents is that they are low expense games. No flights or long term hotel stays. Bus in the day before, stay one night in a hotel, bus back to campus same day.

With conference realignment and expansion, the days of big paydays for FCS teams are dwindling in a hurry. How FCS even survives and doesn't just drop to D2 will be the challenge over the next decade.

You can travel to Winston Salem and Raleigh in a day and back! I don't mind playing the aforementioned schools but I do think we should play some ACC Schools but that's just an opinion

Sure we can easily travel to Raleigh or Chapel Hill but the ACC has cut back on their ability to schedule multiple FCS games. The non P5 schools aren’t restricted and will want to have the buy games on their schedule.

9/10 - at Coastal Carolina 9/24 - MERCER 10/1 - at Marshall 10/15 - at Jake's Secret Crush
Add a good home game and another pay day on the road, I think we may have another pay game on the road or two in the works. Might as well cash in while we can and fill game spots in the process.

I cannot remember where I read the quote by Lamb but he basically said we were going to load the schedule with money games and winning the conference would put us at 6-7 or something like that.

Shifting schedule Normally, teams know their opponents for the fall well in advance of spring football. Thanks to conference realignment, however, Gardner-Webb has several spots to fill on its 2022 slate.
“It’s tough not knowing who you are going to be playing at this point,” Lamb said. “I’m glad the Big South and the OVC (Ohio Valley Conference) have reached an agreement to ensure stability for the future, but this year will be tough. Some of those games we schedule will probably be tough to win, so we could conceivably win the conference, which is our goal, and go into the playoffs at 5-7. We will just have to wait and see who we play.”
That was from my article about the Spring Game. Thanks for reading

Disappointed in the fact we only have 4 home Games this season but the Mercer Game looks like it could be a fun game. North Carolina A&T at seasons end could be entertaining. Anyone up for a road trip to Elon on the 17th of September Lol!! I might have to slip out of work that Saturday and attend that one could be a good game too!! 6-5 for me just like gwebb1994 predicted!!

I will say it is strange to be playing Bryant and Robert Morris in Football in what I like I now call the Big North Conference as opposed to the Big South Conference!!!
