The Calvinists are always predestined to lose, but even though they are 15-23 overall, they are 7-8 in conference tied for 5th with UNCA and two games back of CSU in the 4th spot. We remain a game ahead of CSU in 3rd.
Key series and we shouldn’t take the Hose lightly, they managed to give CU one of their two conference losses on the season, and if they want to make any push up the standings, they’ll need to start by beating us at least two out of three. We need a series win on the road in conference play, we haven’t done that yet and this is our best chance since our only road conference games left after this weekend are at CU.
We’ll see how they handle Saturday, might have to push that 3 pm start back to 6 or 7 after the rain moves through.

Solid analysis, '94. Here's hoping we can nab two out of three.

Solid 6-2 win, Alcock 4 hit shutout ball with 7 K in 7 IP. The Calvinists got single runs in the 8th and 9th of no consequence.
Supposed start at 3 pm tomorrow, we'll see with the rain moving through after daybreak.

Ugly 13-3 loss today, the Calvinists put a 7 spot on the board in the 1st and it was over.
Regroup and get the series win Sunday.
