www.myrtlebeachherald.com/v2/content.aspx?ID=43028&MemberID=1807I hope someone will get this article to Coach Dickerson for the locker room bulletin board. I'm beginning to think that our W at Coastal Carolina may have been the catalyst for Coach Bennett's firing. But, for our boys to be considered "lowly" is just too much for me to stomach. Here's hoping we never lose to Coastal Carolina again. Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Some sea chicken hack using an adverb instead of an adjective for description.
Let's see how their mighty millionaire head coach fares...then we'll see the definition of 'lowly', especially considering the $$$ Coastal floods their football program with...there is a reason the rest of the conference is laughing at CCU right now.

Well guys, we all know what our guys are capable of. But lets face it, they didnt produce on the field.(I know for alot of reasons and stuff others didnt know). But, thats the way we look at teams that had our record or worse. We can be offended, and stay lowly or we can get our buts on it and fix it. Any league, you only get respect when you earn it and we didnt last year. I do believe it would be good for the guys to see what other people think. Also, some of our coaches need to see it. We have to get better but its in thier hands to make the change. All we can do is love em and pull for them. I do beliieve we saw some things last year that could really catch on fire but we definately have some things to fix or we will be lowly again!!

Bulletin Board material, you got that right!!! The only thing that has prevented G-Dubb from whipping CCU's tail the last 3 years in a row was the inability of former G-Dubb HC Patton to close the deal when leading in the 2nd half of the games in 2009 and 2010. The pick 6 return with G-Dubb having the lead and the wind in the 4th qtr in 2010 propelled CCU to an overtime win that set them on their way to the playoffs.
Likewise, CCU hasn't yet beaten an FBS team (Akron) like G-Dubb has and hasn't come close to a BCS upset like G-Dubb has (Ga. Tech 10-7).
Our guys are gonna run the ball all over the beach chickens in Spangler next season, mark it down.
