OL Coach/Run Game Coordinator and now WR Coach/Pass Game Coordinator. Offensive side of the ball pretty much turned completely over. Wondering if HC Dickerson in hiring replacements will go the same route as last season with these two coaches or name one offensive coordinator, any thoughts out there? Will this be the last of the coaching staff turnover or should we expect more? Would be nice to have the staff locked down for 2012 by the time Spring Ball rolls around.

I hope we go with an OC. Too many problems arise when two people are calling plays. That is the only way I see this working without starting over again. Heard our big game this year will be Pittsburg.

I would think we would want to keep the 10/13 open date between the trips to Liberty and Stony Brook.

eagledawg, I expect at least two more coaching changes. With the departure of coaches that HC Dickerson brought in himself, it seems hard to imagine that coaches from the previous administration will stay. My guess is, though I do not know, that they too will go, or at least are looking for other opportunities. While it could be argued that Dickerson's hires left for "greener pastures", i.e. App St. and fbs, Western Mich., it is hard to imagine that the others are not at least looking to "get out of Dodge". If you cannot keep the coaches you brought in for at least more than one year, it is difficult to imagine that you will keep those that were already there before you arrived. One has already left, if I am not mistaken, and left without a destination, and my prediction is the others will likely leave as well. I always like these coaching change announcements within days of nli signing deadlines. Oh well. Thats the NCAA and the business of college football always looking out for the kids.
