New GWU Logo

Here is the new GWU logo that they have come up with after apparently shelling out major amounts of $$$ to some research firm to create it. Vote your opinion and opine below.



I'm not a fan, it reminds me of some rehashed logo from the United Methodist Church or something similar. I like our school seal a great deal, with the words "Pro Deo Et Humanitate" displayed. I don't get it.
At least it is not as tacky as the "People Who Care" gimmick of the early 1990's that Dr. White's spiteful wife came up with.

I am sure there are some alums that could have handled this and done a great job.

Same, reminded my of the Methodist Church logo way too much. Poor choice IMO.

I do like the old seal as well. The rational behind it is that the three flames represent like God, people and the Holy Spirit (or something like that. I don't remember if it maybe the Trinity or something else, but its along those lines.) I don't hate it but I don't love it either.

Let's see, logo looks like fire. fire (logo) = 1) bad campus event we don't want to happen, 2) fire dept., 3) methodist logo, 4) hell, and 5) rival liberty flames.
