At least some programs are committed to providing the basic facilities necessary to be able to have baseball games aired on television in a proper manner.

GW has one of the nicest baseball facilities in the league. Easily one of the most TV friendly setups outside of Liberty and Coastal's 2015 renovation.

Well woo hooooooo. That was fun. Big South Conference office picked the right game to televise after all. And it is the league's broadcast money that pays for that, not Campbell. John Henry's palace in the Springs is plenty nice enough to host TV games.

Gutsy win. Our stadium is nice enough to host, yet doesn't have the proper permanent things in place to televise (look at centerfield wall next time you are there). You can't run a program on the cheap like Chuck apparently wants to do.

You can't run a program on the cheap like Chuck apparently wants to do. A carbon copy of the comeback win vs. CCU last Friday!!!.Now 10-11 in Conference, with a 3-1 record against Coastal and Campbell in our last 4 conf. games. '94 is referring to the fact that we don't have a TV platform in left-center for the requisite over-the-pitcher's-shoulder shot, which ESPN requires, nor do we apparently have the underground cable laid to connect that with the pressbox vid stuff. Nor do we have a "batter's eye" in center field, so the reflection of the sun off the roof of the new Student Center is very bad from 6pm til the sun sets. There have been offers made to donate the required funding and turn-key construction of that needed structure; no response from the AD to this generous offer. We have a great stadium, need to commit to fund the program to a higher degree. But we've had that discussion in the past, especially while Elcid was active on the board, about sports funding in general at GW. Lets get out there and win at least one of the 2 remaining at Campbell, and solidify a tourney spot.
