www.gwusports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=10300&ATCLID=209519279Impressive. With the rumored new field turf going in the football stadium, Gardner Webb will have some of the most competitive athletic facilities in the region.. Next, even though they had a recent update, I would like to see them add more on to the soccer stadium,But I know the big driver of these nice facilities are private donations.

Awesome. Breaking ground in September really makes them push for time for the 2015 season does it not?

This is a much awaited announcement for a facility that will help anchor that end of campus along with the great baseball stadium. A much needed capital improvement for the University, as we add not only a stadium but critical office - locker room and training facilities where they are needed.
BTW, the football / Womens Lacrosse field turf installation is set to begin next week! IT IS REAL 94!!!

Congrats! always great to see other schools in the conf expanding/upgrading facilities! Really helps to raise the overall profile of the league. Now to get some of the other schools on board. we're building a new place for our team as well... right on the site of the old baseball stadium should be done by the fall and features 1,000 chair-back seats, home, visiting and umpires' locker rooms, training room, team meeting room, coaches' offices, a large press box, indoor batting cages, and a large scoreboard and video board live cam if you are interested: www.liberty.edu/aboutliberty/index.cfm?PID=24631&cam=softball-stadium

PS: congrats on the FB turf too! that should be a huge improvement. Maybe they'll do alternating shades of green - always wished LU had done that
