With the sweep of Valpo over the weekend, the Diamond Dawgs have now won 9 in a row, I think thats the 4th longest current streak in NCAA D-1 baseball. Lets keep it going mid-week, then especially vs. Wofford in a 3 game set over the weekend. The Terriers look pretty decent, so it'll be a great series before Conference play starts up.

That's what I said in the other thread....Wofford has already beaten ACC foes BC and Pitt. The mixed three game set this weekend will be interesting and a good test for sure. I don't expect much trouble with Holy Cross in the two games either, we are hot.

Make that 10 in a row now, a stunning 5-4 win against Holy Cross. HC took lead 4-3 with 3 in top of ninth, we proceed to score two in bottom of frame to win, both off of wild pitches/passed balls. Talk about finding ways to win games!

Not a good weekend for the Diamond Dawgs. Wofford certainly got to our pitchers - they can hit. NC Central today and UNC Wednesday precede the Conference opener this weekend at PC. PC has done some impressive things so far, so its not going to be a cakewalk. Need to go 2-1 down there to start off on the right foot in conf.
