I am always the eternally optimistic fan who believes that we will go undefeated. Circumstances can always change in the future and cause me to reevaluate my predictions. That said, we do have an uphill climb as our guys learn a new offensive and defensive scheme. I know our boys have done a better job of conditioning to get ready for next week's camp. You can look at our players and see they are in better shape than previous year's. It took Steve Spurrier 6 year's to make the Gamecocks competitive in the Southern Conference. I don't think it will take Coach Dickerson 6 years to make the Runnin' Bulldogs competitive in the Big South.
It will be fun to watch and see how long it takes the offensive side of the ball to put in a full slate of plays. I suspect we will start out with a small playbook for the first couple of games and then expand as everyone gets more comfortable. Hopefully, once we get ready to play conference games we will hitting on all cylinders.
Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Big gap between number of votes for CCU and G-W in the 4th spot. That's fine, let's fly under the radar. Let all the media and SID's suck Flame teat for all I care. I don't think LU is just going to stroll into Boiling Springs and win big in the conference opener for both.

Unfortunately, the SID group doesn't get a vote anymore. Just the head coaches and two members of the media per school who cover the league (radio and newspaper usually)
