I'm going with 7-4, a solid first year for Dickerson and company.
IMO, the swing game is Samford. If we find a way to win that one on the road after the two FBS games and bye week, it gives us awesome momentum heading into the conference slate.

The first four games will be interesting.
Game 1 - Brevard will be interesting to see how the team does executing the new coaches' systems [offense and defense] in an actual game.
Game 2 - We won't be able to sneak up on Ohio following last year's W in Akron. Ohio is also a much better team than Akron. In order to win this game, GW will have to play flawless football and force Ohio to turnover the football.
Game 3 - This game will be interesting to see if Wake Forest was going through a rebuilding year last year or are they in the beginning of a downhill slide. I don't GW will be scared of Wake in this game and this could really have an interesting result.
Game 4 - After a bye week, we travel to Samford to see how we fare against Southern Conference talent. Admittedly, Samford is not the best team in the SC, but it will still be an interesting test.
While I am certainly pulling for a 4-0 result in the first 4 games, I think it will be interesting to watch this team mature under their new coaching staff. 3-1 would be a great finish to this stretch of our season and 2-2 would not be awful.
Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Go Runnin' Bulldogs! Good take as always. I'm sticking with my theory that we are going to have a tougher time of things up in Athens, Ohio than in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We'll play Wake closer.

We'll play Wake closer. I'm with ya 83, but got a couple of questions........... Game 1 - Once the adrenalin levels off, how quick will we bounce back after a mistake? (hopefully only a few, and hopefully on the next play) How many times will they punt? (I'm thinking 3 and out on the first 3 series) Will the offense get stronger as the game goes on? (from how we have been training over the last 8 months, I'm leaning toward yes) Will the final score reflect the dominance we feel we should have over them? (not cocky just confident in the ability of "our boys") Game 2 - I agree we are not going to catch them napping and looking ahead to Marshall. Will we play a complete error free game? (that is why I will be there screaming encouragement) Game 3 - Have ya'll seen Wake's schedule? They play us after Syracuse, NC State & before BC, Fla State and Va Tech. Are they going to over look us? And is this game already on their calender as a "W"? (have a strong showing the week before and they won't and they will make sure they get a "W" or they could go 0-6 going into the Duke game.) Game 4 - Having an off week before will be a great benefit for us. But, having a dominating game and two soild games and a week to get our legs back under us would spell trouble with a capital "T" for Samford. My only question here would be. What kind of shape are we mentally and physically coming onto the game?Only time will tell, and I can't wait........... Go you Runnin Bulldogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
