Not the worst first quarter but you can’t turn the ball over against good teams. Gotta keep them behind the chains.
Terrible start to the second quarter with that deep pass.

6 turnovers and Fisher got hurt = no chance.
W&M took pity on us. They could have easily hung 70 on the board.

Season ended badly, but it was a special season. Lots to build on. And Coach has said all year long that next year is the one he's been looking toward.

All 8 home teams won yesterday. GW through two rounds is the only road team to win.

A bit shocked how W&M didn’t show up in Bozeman last night, losing 55-7.

They took a beating worse than the one they gave us. Montana State had a pretty big advantage in playing at home--but that doesn't explain the lopsided outcome. MSU is really, really good, but they're not that much better than W&M.

MSU is really, really good, but they're not that much better than W&M. The field conditions were awful. Played on ice and the Tribe was unprepared. MSU players wore turf shoes which were needed. As temperature dropped conditions only deteriorated. Short week, time change and 5000 ft. elevation also contributed. W&M couldn't get on the field until pregame. |

Would have been interesting to see that game played either in Williamsburg or at a neutral site. The loss didn't reflect W&M's quality of talent or overall play throughout the year. Of course, I like to think that GW was better than it showed against the Tribe, too, but that's another conversation.
